I. I live in …. It’s located ….. Due to the influence of the Baltic Sea cyclones -Saint Petersburg experiences a humid continental climate. Summers are typically cool, humid and quite short, while winters are long, cold, but with frequent warm spells. The city also suffers from floods because of location of city and weather conditions (strong winds from the Baltic Sea)

The main features of the weather are frequent rains, high humidity so waterproof clothes and umbrellas are required. The weather is changeable – it changes throughout the day…..

II. Weather conditions are quite variable all year round.

In summer the average temperature is 23 С People get enough …… because of white nights. ……. are frequent but they are not cold …you never know when it is going to rain.

The weather changes in autumn. Autumn starts with reasonably warm sunny days in mid-September, but by mid-October it is often chilly. The average September temperature is 10.8 C^o, and the average October temperature is 4.9 C^o . In November it might start to snow, but sometimes it does not snow until mid-December. .. are frequent in ….

Winters are long as in most areas of Russia(from November to March). Temperatures as low as -10 C^o are normal, and - 20 C^o is not unusual. People can experience …….. They suffer from lack of sunshine. The Neva River usually freezes between November 25 and December 5 and the ice breaks, melts only by mid-April.

Springs. From early April temperatures are above freezing and by April 15 all the snow normally melts. One should be prepared for some chilly rainy days, but it can get rather warm in mid-May

-Growing numbers of people are being diagnosed as weather-sensitive. The weather affect them greatly especially people who suffer from rheumatism and asthma, heart diseases They feel worse when it rains, when … -The direct sun's rays leadto skin cancer.
