1. Система английских звуков

1. Английский язык имеет 26 букв. Они издают 44 звука.

Из них 20 гласных и 24 согласных

А. Гласные:

краткие,

долгие (глубокие),

дифтонги.

Б. Согласные:

звонкие

глухие

шипящие и свистящие

межзубные

альвеолярные

взрывные

сонорные.
