“My Family”

Цели урока: Осмысление и закрепление новых знаний и способов деятельности по теме “Моя Семья”.
Задачи урока:
Учебно-образовательные: развитие навыков монологической речи, диалогической речи, поискового чтения, расширение лексического запаса, развитие умения понимать иноязычную речь и реагировать на нее, активизировать в речи лексический и грамматический запас, расширение знаний о стране изучаемого языка.
Развивающие: развитие творческого мышления, расширение кругозора, развитие логического мышления, развитие памяти, смекалки, сообразительности.
Воспитательные: развитие вежливости, культуры поведения, уважения к предмету, к стране изучаемого языка, развитие познавательного интереса у учащихся к культуре англоязычных стран.
Ход урока
I. Фонетическая + речевая зарядка
T: Good morning boys and girls. I’m very glad to see you. Today we are going to speak about families, but not only our families. But at first let’s revise some words for this topic.
T: Listen to Mag’s story about her family.
Repeat after me.
Thank you.
And now two of you will go to the board and do the task: divide these words and phrases into two groups: family and activity. (компьютерная программа)
T: Everyone has a family. I would like to ask some questions about your families.
Is your family big or small?
How many people are there in your family?
Do you have any brothers or sisters?
How old are they?
Does your family have a lot of friends?
T: It’s time to check the task.

IV. Основной этап
T: Well, now here is the most interesting part of our lesson. You see, that you’re divided into 3 groups:
1st group – your task is to make the Griffins’ family tree.
2nd group – you are to tell us about an ideal family.
3rd group – we will work together.
T: OK. Do you want to meet another happy family? I’m sure you do. This family is “THE SIMPSONS.” Let’s read about them.

'The Simpsons' is a very popular TV show, not just in America but all over the world. It is about a funny cartoon family from Springfield, USA.

Marge Simpson is the mother of the family. She is 38 years old. She is tall and slim and her hair is blue! She can cook well and she is very kind.

Homer Simpson is the father of the family. He is 39 years old and is tall and fat. He likes eating and drinking very much. He is not very clever, but he's funny.

Lisa Simpson is 8 years old. She's short and she's got fair hair. She is very clever. She can sing and play the saxophone and she can speak Swedish and French.

T: Good of you. Now I give you 3 minutes to do the tasks: answer the questions and correct the sentences.
How old is the father?
What can the mother do well?
What does the father like to do?
Who can play the saxophone?
Does Bart like watching TV?
What languages can Lisa speak?
The Simpsons live in Russia.
Bart Simpson is the daughter.
Marge Simpson has black hair.
Maggie Simpson can walk and talk.
The Simpsons is a sad family.
T: I prepared for you “The Simpsons Family Quiz” to see how good you know this family now.
T: Now change your worksheets with partners and check your answers.
T: Excellent job! At the end of our lesson let’s listen to the projects made by the groups.
Group 1, you are welcome to board. Show us the Griffins’ family tree, please.
Group 2, tell us about the ideal family.
T: You all worked very hard. I hope you enjoyed this lesson as well as I did. And you have a home task: Read the text about another TV family and answer the questions after it.
